Amid the rise of COVID-19 cases in the country, ABS-CBN has put its noontime variety show It’s Showtime’s live staging on pause.  On Sunday, the network released a statement thanking their viewers for their understanding and support on this matter. “To ensure the safety of our hosts and production team because of the surging COVID-19 cases in the country, ABS-CBN is suspending temporarily the live staging of ‘It’s Showtime.’,” they wrote.
