Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa said she felt like a mom while watching Miss International Philippines 2019 Patch Magtanong compete at this year’s Miss International pageant in Japan.
The 59th Miss International pageant was held last November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. The Philippines’ candidate Patch Magtanong made a Top 8 finish.
In an Instagram post, Kylie praised Patch for her “exquisite performance” in the pageant.
“I felt like a mom watching the pageant for the first time live, I was so nervous. I don’t think I’m ever going to watch another pageant live again. You were amazing and a great representative of the Philippines.
“Your speech on women empowerment and gender equality was moving. Congratulations, this is only the beginning,” she said.
