Philippines’ representative Bea Patricia “Patch” Magtanong ended her Miss International bid with a Top 8 finish at the 59th Miss International coronation night in Tokyo, Japan.
Thailand’s Sireethorn Leearamwat was crowned the winner, succeeding Venezuela’s Mariem Velazco.
Andrea Ramirez of Mexico was proclaimed first runner-up, Evelyn Namatovu of Uganda second runner-up, and Maria Vengoechea of Colombia and Harriotte Lane of United Kingdom as third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Although she failed to clinch the crown, netizens still congratulated Patch on Twitter with the hashtag #PA7CH, also lauding her speech on women empowerment.
Even before the coronation night, Magtanong said she already felt like she had won, thanking and asking for prayers from her supporters in an Instagram post.
“The crown is still waiting for its new queen, but I already feel like I’ve won. Thank you to everybody supporting me, to my entire country, and beyond it. It’s been an honor representing the Philippines, and today is the day! Please say a little prayer for me! ☺️?????,” she said.
