Bea Alonzo celebrated her 33rd birthday with an outreach activity with her charity organization I Am Hope.
In a recent vlog, the actress shared the lessons she learned as she turned a year older.
“This year brought me so many lessons. Syempre, pains that I really learned from and it left me anxious also and siguro worried about the future, about the uncertainties of tomorrow but syempre lagi dapat natin ihahanap yung silver lining in everything,” she opened up.
Now that she’s older, Bea said she’s choosing to count her blessings. This is why she decided to share her birthday celebration with the St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Bonifacio Global City.
Bea discussed that her outreach program is in partnership with the organization she co-founded with her friend Rina Navarro when the pandemic started.
In a post by the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, they thanked the actress “for choosing our parish as one of the beneficiaries of the family food packs she prepared to meaningfully celebrate her birthday. You made the poorest of the poor in the roadside of BGC so happy and blessed.”
Meanwhile, her I Am Hope family planned something special for her birthday and surprised her with an intimate gathering.
“It was really special. You know why? I met these people early this year lang. I feel like I’ve known them forever,” she said.
The 33-year-old’s birthday weekend was capped with an intimate dinner at home with her glam team. Bea explained that she wanted to make her team feel special since they have been with her “through it all.”
