Jane De Leon has gone viral online after a stage mishap led her to perform a mashup of songs by two seemingly different artists: Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and VST & Company’s “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko”.
A clip of De Leon’s performance, uploaded by TikTok user clintonmiguel, quickly gained traction on the platform, garnering more than four million views and leaving netizens both puzzled and amused.
In the video, fellow actress Belle Mariano introduced De Leon as the next performer at the ASAP XP concert in Lapid Arena in Angeles, Pampanga.
As De Leon appeared onstage, Lady Gaga’s 2008 hit “Poker Face” began playing. However, instead of singing the pop song, the actress launched into VST & Company’s classic 1978 disco hit “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko,” creating an unexpected mashup as the instrumental of “Poker Face” continued in the background.
The unusual musical moment immediately sparked a wave of hilarious reactions, memes, and witty captions from netizens.
“I-poker face mo at isasayaw ko?” one TikTok user commented.
“Kaninong panaginip ‘to?” another quipped.
“Awitin mo, i-po-poker face ko-Lady Gaga ft. Jane De Leon,” another netizen joked.
Some even dubbed De Leon “Asia’s Mixer,” “Asia’s Plot Twist,” and “Asia’s Remix Queen” following the viral performance.
ABS-CBN and ASAP XP also joined in on the fun, sharing their own memes inspired by the unexpected mashup.
De Leon herself shared laughs with netizens over the viral moment through posts on X.
“’I-poker face mo at isasayaw ko…’ 😭 ALIW KAYOO HAHAHAHA,” she wrote.
The actress also reposted edited clips of her performance, reacting with “My goodness” and “MimaAa, sino ba DJ nito, ASAP?”
