Nikko Natividad has revealed that his wife, Cielo, suffered a pregnancy loss and underwent emergency surgery during their trip to Singapore to celebrate her birthday.
The actor shared details of the medical emergency on Instagram, where he appealed for prayers for his wife, who had been in the operating room for six hours at the time of his post.
Nikko said they had traveled to Singapore for Cielo’s birthday celebration, unaware that she was already six weeks pregnant. They later learned that she had an ectopic pregnancy, which required immediate surgery.
“Hindi namin alam na 6 weeks na pala s’yang pregnant. Wala kaming choice kung ‘di paoperahan s’ya agad agad dito sa SG dahil delikado daw at ectopic pregnancy s’ya,” he wrote.
“Nakakalungkot dahil s’yempre nawalan kami ng anak. Pero ang dasal ko ngayon maging ok si wife. […] Sa mga kaibigan, pamilya namin, we need your prayers,” he added.
Natividad later shared a photo of himself holding his wife’s hand, accompanied by the caption, “Thank you.” The post appeared to offer a hopeful update on their situation, although he did not explicitly confirm her condition following the operation.
He also reposted few photos from their trip on his Instagram Story, writing, “Not the trip we planned, but we’re just grateful that you’re safe and here with us. Love you, [Cielo].”
Nikko and Cielo have two children together: their eldest son, Aiden Seagal, and their daughter, Aiz Shelby, whom they welcomed in 2024.
