Angel Locsin was seen helping out a carinderia’s food drive for the locally stranded individuals (LSI) in North Port Passenger Terminal in Tondo, Manila.
The actress was seen with the staff of Heaven’s Touch Cuisine, who said they were able to distribute 300 food packs of pancit and siomai rice for those who are stranded.
Angel’s team for her ABS-CBN public service program Iba ‘Yan teamed up with the carinderia to recognize the efforts of its owners, the Piadoche family.
“300 food packs of pancit and siomai rice for our kababayan, who are stranded (LSI) in North Port, Tondo, Manila,” they wrote on their Facebook page.
Heaven’s Touch Cuisine will be featured on Iba ‘Yan this Sunday on the Kapamilya Channel.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “real-life Darna” spearheaded relief efforts in the country.
