Angel Locsin to donate isolation tents to 38 more hospitals

-

Angel Locsin has already donated 22 isolation and sanitation tents to 11 hospitals in Luzon through the #UniTentWeStand crowdfunding campaign, and is still working on to provide for 38 more beneficiaries.

The #UniTentWeStand aims to help solve overcrowding in hospitals by setting up additional tents outside public and private hospitals amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In an Instagram post, the 34-year-old actress and philanthropist shared an update of the ongoing project, and thanked the people who gave their donation.

“Sa ngayon, may 11 hospitals, total of 22 hospital tents na po tayong naipapatayo nang dahil sa donasyon at malasakit po ninyo, 38 more hospitals to go (as of April 1)❤️ Muli, maraming maraming salamat po!,” she wrote.

She also shared photos of the tents her fundraiser with fiancé Neil Arce and friend Dimples Romana was able to turn over to different hospitals in Luzon.

These included the Department of Health (DOH) hospitals and the main COVID-19 referral facilities such as the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine in Muntinlupa, the Philippine General Hospital in Manila and the Lung Center of the Philippines in Quezon City.

Among the next batch of hospital beneficiaries are the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, PNP General Hospital, National Kidney Transplant Institute, San Lazaro Hospital, as well as more provincial hospitals like the Bulacan Medical Center, Tarlac Provincial Hospital, Central Luzon Doctors Hospital and Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital.
