Anthony Taberna encountered a “good samaritan” who helped him when his sugar levels were decreasing while they were waiting for their turn to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The radio host shared his heartwarming story on Instagram of how a man offered him his own “baon” so that Anthony could still have his vaccine jab.
The “Kuyang Manong” who heard of his situation offered him his sandwich while another woman in line gave him water.
“Nakatawid si Tunying bago nag-hypoglycemia! Whew!
Tunying, as he’s fondly called, then advised those who will get their vaccine shots soon to bring their own snacks just in case they will stay in line for a while.
Anthony shared that he was able to get his COVID-19 vaccine jab because he’s part of the A3 group or persons with comorbidities.
No problem! Sabi nga ng mga Doktor na kaibigan ko, sa giyera laban sa Covid — ‘the best vaccine is the one that’s available,’” he wrote in another post.
Anthony is just one of the many personalities who have already received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
