Morissette Amon made headlines last week after she walked out on her concert guesting for Kiel Alo’s birthday. The singer apologized for her behavior, saying she was taken aback by the press’ questions regarding her family.
Multi-award winning singer Vina Morales shared her thoughts on the incident. She said it was sad Morissette had to go through that.
“It’s sad na ganon ang naging sitwasyon at nababash din siya, it’s really sad. And also sad din ako sa producer na yung expectations nila hindi nagawa. Mahirap din talaga mag-comment diyan but ako kasi sa napagdaanan ko, sa pagmamahal ko sa trabaho, you really just have to be professional kahit pa anong problema. Ako rin naman dumaan ako sa maraming problema, my God, before the shows umiiyak pa ako, pero umaakyat pa rin ako ng stage kasi kailangan,” she said in a report from Pilipino Star Ngayon.
Vina recounted the moments when she had to perform even while she was pregnant.
“I did my concert. I was three months pregnant and nag i-spotting ako, medicine lang ang iniinom ko pero meron akong kontrata to do a concert with Kuh Ledesma, US tour yon. Wala akong magawa, I have to do it, pero dapat bed ridden ako non kasi kailangan nag i-spotting nga ako but I have no choice kasi nga may kontrata ako, yung expectations ng producers, ng mga tao,” she said.
According to Vina, it is important to be professional especially when one has an obligation to the people.
