Another photo of Paolo Contis dining with a woman has surfaced online as a netizen appeared to have contradicted the actor’s claim that he met Yen Santos in Baguio City only for a day.
Replying to a GMA News quote card of Paolo’s statement over his breakup with LJ Reyes, a netizen shared a photo of Paolo with a staff at a ramen restaurant in Baguio taken last August 25, side by side with what looked like a screenshot from a CCTV footage showing the actor wearing the same clothes while dining with a female companion at the said restaurant.
“1 day in Baguio? Realllllly? Aug 25 in Agare Ramen Baguio, then Sep 3 sa Lemon and Olives. Sinong niloloko nio?” the netizen pointed out.
Paolo was earlier spotted hanging out with a “mystery girl,” whom netizens were quick to speculate as Yen, at a restaurant in Baguio and during a visit to the Manaoag Church in Pangasinan last August 27. The photos and video of the “sightings” have since gone viral online.

The Kapuso actor broke his silence over his controversial split with LJ Reyes in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, addressing allegations raised after his ex-partner’s revelations in an interview with Boy Abunda.
Paolo confirmed that Yen was the woman in the viral photos and video, but contrary to speculations, he stressed that she was never the cause of his breakup with LJ.
The actress is Paolo’s leading lady in the film A Faraway Land, now streaming on Netflix.
“Kung matagal na kaming hindi okay ni LJ, it was mainly because of me. Masyado niyo siyang diniin sa issue na to. Pati pag promote namin ng movie nabahiran na ng kung anu ano,” he said.
According to Paolo, he went to Baguio for three days to clear his thoughts amid his breakup, and invited Yen for a day “para may makausap since malapit lang siya sa North din.”

“Naging insensitive ako about the possible effects nung issue and I invited Yen for a day. She went there as a friend. Hindi ko naisip na madadamay siya ng ganito. I’m sorry for this,” he further said.
Yen, as of writing, has not spoken up on the issue.
In his post, Paolo apologized to LJ as well as their daughter, Summer, and Aki, LJ’s son from a previous relationship.
“To Summer, I’m sorry my Ganda. I love and miss you so much. Papa will do his best to be better. I will always be here for you. I promise.
“To Aki, I wish I could’ve done things differently and listened to you more. I’m sorry I failed you.
“To LJ, I’m very sorry. For everything. Sa lahat lahat.”
He also apologized to other people who were dragged into the controversy, including his talent manager Lolit Solis and ex-wife Lian Paz and their daughters.

Paolo ended the post with the promise to work on himself, and the request for privacy and prayers.
“I will work on making myself a better person and learning from this. But for now, please respect our privacy and pray for us. Ngayon kung hindi pa po kayo pagod, please direct all your hate and bashings at me. No one else deserves it, ako lang. Thank you.”
