DJ Chacha was the talk of the internet as her TikTok video went viral.
The radio jock joined a trend where aspiring radio DJs can see if they have what it takes to go on air.
The challenge asks that they introduce a song before the vocals kick in in 12 seconds.
“Pangarap ko po talaga mag DJ,” she joked.
Without fail, DJ Chacha was able to execute the challenge with her iconic spiel. Moments after sharing her video, netizens flocked to her post expressing how much they missed her voice on the radio.
“Ang nostalgic naman neto, namiss ko tuloy makinig ng radyo, DJ Chacha kasama ko lagi mag rebyu tuwing madaling araw noong college days ko,” a Twitter user said.
DJ Chacha landed the 24th spot on Twitter Philippines’ top trending list.
She recently reported that ABS-CBN’s FM station MOR 101.9 will stop its operations after the broadcast network’s franchise renewal was denied.
She turned emotional after opening up on losing the station she lent her voice to for 12 years.
“Tahanan ko ang MOR for 12 years. Pagkatapos ko maka-graduate ng college, this is my first job, first love nga tawag ko, forever love,” she said.
