Along with its line-up of new programs, TV5 will be bringing in a handful of Kapamilya artists to its turf.

Ria Atayde and Pokwang will be hosting their morning show, Chika, BESH (Basta Everyday Super Happy) with Eat Bulaga mainstay Pauleen Luna-Sotto. The trio will cater to topics concerning women of all ages and walks of life.

The morning talk show will premiere on August 17 at 10 a.m.

Jessy Mendiola, meanwhile, is set to lead viewers to an hour-long show packed with full-body exercises and health tips for a more holistic lifestyle on Fit for Life. Her fitness show will air on August 16 at 7 a.m.

Broadcast journalist Luchi Cruz-Valdes will discuss various narratives and inspiring case studies that aim to inspire, engage and move viewers into action with Usapang Real Life with Luchi Cruz-Valdes.

Some of her celebrity guests to watch out for are ABS-CBN’s Karen Davila, KC Concepcion, Ivana Alawi, Jane De Leon and Catriona Gray.

The show will premiere on August 15 at 9 pm.

TV5 chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan had earlier said in a STAR interview that the Kapatid network is “prepared to offer alternative jobs” to displaced workers of ABS-CBN, following Congress’ rejection of the latter’s franchise renewal bid.

“We are revving up our entertainment content creation and will need creatives, talents, directors, scriptwriters, cameramen, etc.,” he said.
