Veteran entertainment journalist, radio host, and talent manager Jobert Sucaldito has passed away. He was 65.
The news was confirmed on Sunday, Aug. 2, through a statement posted on the Facebook page OOTD Jobert and Chaps Channel, which announced the broadcaster’s “untimely passing.”
“This morning, between 9:45 AM and 10:15 AM, an incident occurred at his residence in Kamias, Quezon City. He was immediately rushed to the Philippine Heart Center, where the medical team exerted every effort to revive him,” the statement read. “Sadly, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced deceased at around 10:30 AM.”
As of posting time, Sucaldito’s family is awaiting the official medical findings to determine the exact cause of his death.
“We kindly ask everyone to offer prayers for the eternal repose of Tito Jobert’s soul and to respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. […] Maraming salamat sa inyong mga panalangin at pakikiramay,” the post concluded.
Details regarding Sucaldito’s wake and funeral arrangements have yet to be announced and will be shared once available.
