Kapamilya and Kapuso artists are coming together in the upcoming season of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Kuya himself made the big announcement in Iya Villania’s 24 Oras report on Monday. The collaboration was formalized through a contract signing held between the two media giants on Tuesday, January 28 at the PPB house.
The hit reality show’s new edition will feature ABS-CBN network’s Star Magic artists as well as GMA network’s Sparkle talents.
Dubbed the “PBB Celebrity Edition Collab,” the new season marks the show’s 20th anniversary celebration.
“For the first time, PBB opens the doors of the iconic Bahay ni Kuya to welcome GMA Sparkle artists alongside ABS-CBN’s Star Magic talents,” ABS-CBN said in a statement.
It added, “Together, Kapuso and Kapamilya stars will collaborate and create unforgettable moments inside the PBB house.”
This partnership between ABS-CBN and GMA Network marks a historic first for the “PBB” to air on GMA. “PBB’s” past season previously aired on Kapamilya network, cable TV, and online platforms.
