ABS-CBN has officially released its statement after receiving reports of scammers posting fake auditions and casting calls for its programs, including FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Pinoy Big Brother, and High Street.

In the official statement dated April 16, the Kapamilya network stated, “Nakarating sa amin ang impormasyon na may mga indibidwal na nag-post sa social media ng pekeng auditions at casting calls para sa mga programa ng ABS-CBN na Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, at High Street.”

The media giant firmly informed the public that ABS-CBN has no affiliation with such private auditions and casting calls.

The statement announced the official dates for the first auditions for PBB and ABS-CBN talent arm Star Magic.

“Magsasagawa ang ABS-CBN ng unang audition para sa Pinoy Big Brother at Star Magic sa Abril 27 sa Robinsons Novaliches, Abril 28 sa Robinsons Las Piñas, at Mayo 4 hanggang Mayo 5 sa KCC Mall of Gensan,” the schedule read.

Additionally, on-ground auditions will also officially be held in Visayas and Mindanao, along with online auditions.

ABS-CBN urged the public to await official announcements and assured that all updates regarding auditions will be posted on their official social media accounts.

“Antabayanan niyo po ang aming official announcement. Ipo-post ang lahat ng updates tungkol sa auditions sa opisyal na Facebook (Pinoy Big Brother ABS-CBN), X (@PBBabscbn), Instagram (@pbbabscbntv), at YouTube (Pinoy Big Brother) accounts ng PBB,” the network reminded the public.

As for Batang Quiapo and High Street, ABS-CBN clarified that there are currently no casting calls or auditions being conducted for these programs.

The network emphasized the importance of safety, urging everyone to remain vigilant against unauthorized individuals claiming to be a part of the said programs and its audition process.

“Mahalaga sa amin ang inyong kaligtasan, Kapamilya. Hinihiling namin na mag-ingat ang lahat at iwasang makipag-ugnayan sa mga hindi awtorisadong indibidwal na nagsasabing nagdaraos sila ng mga audition o casting calls sa ngalan ng ABS-CBN,” the statement concluded.

The statement came after the brand new season of Pinoy Big Brother announced that it will be opening its doors once again for new housemates, with auditions beginning this April. The reality show will premiere later in June.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also previously announced the second season of its hit teen series, “Senior High” with a sequel titled “High Street”.
