James Reid is teaming up with Jay B of K-pop group GOT7 and Taiwanese-American rapper ØZI for new music!
Careless Manila, James Reid’s record label on Friday, made a surprise announcement of the upcoming collaboration with a short clip of the three artists greeting each other in a video call.
James’ 2021 single Hello’ then played in the background, while the text Hello 2.0 Legends Only appeared at the end of the video.
The supposed remake of “Hello” is set to drop on March 11.
James previously teased about the collaboration during his acceptance speech for winning Wish Music’s Contemporary R&B song of Year award.
“I will be singing ‘Hello’ again soon with some friends of mine, so stay tuned,” said James in early February.
The news came a week after James flew to Los Angeles, California for his recording sessions and visit to his brother Andrew.
