On the day she finally received her first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine, Bianca Gonzalez opened up on how the moment turned emotional for her.
The television host said she immediately tried her luck for a slot to get vaccinated.
“What an emotional moment. Like…. after everything everyone has been through this past year, eto na, the light at the end of the tunnel and our hope of getting through thi,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
Bianca recounted her vaccination day, sharing how the process was smooth and orderly. The vaccine she received was Sinovac.
“When my turn came for the jab, it was quick and painless (magaan ang kamay!) and when I asked, she said she easily does 300 shots a day,” she shared.
What made the mom emotional was when she finally received her vaccination card.
“The past month, I would see those around me na Senior or A3 getting their doses ann I could not help but feel, ‘Sana ako din,’” she explained.
She then encouraged her followers to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine as well.
On June 7, the government finally rolled out the immunization program from essential workers or those in the A4 category.
