Kris Aquino surprised fans when she spoke up about her past flame, former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
In a recent social media post, the television host wrote her thoughts on matters she has learned to leave behind.
“Pero naiiba pala ang pananaw sa buhay pag pinaglaban ka na, at pinaramdam sa’yo kung gaano kahalaga ka — maraming beses ka mang mabigo ngiba, kakayanin mong maniwala that this time FOREVER CAN REALLY BEGIN,” she wrote.
In the comments section of her post, a fan of Kris and Herbert expressed their excitement over her comeback.
“Yung tatay nyo hindi ako pinaglaban kaya bumilib ako sa ??????,” she responded.
The fan tagged several accounts which could be Herbert’s to ask his thoughts on Kris’ bold statement.
An account claiming to be the actor responded: “Anong hindi?”
Kris then responded to the account, asking Herbert not to “rewrite history.” She added that he did not fight for her when it mattered.
“Tanong lang — bakit pag nararamdaman mong dinededma ka na, bakit kailangan magparamdam ka? Di ba napaka selfish na attitude nun? MATAGAL kitang hinintay pero PINAGOD mo ang buong pagkatao ko kaya for me you are already a closed chapter,” she countered.
In 2014, Kris broke her silence on rumored romance when she admitted she was dating Herbert. She made the announcement in the now-defunct ABS-CBN late-night talk show Aquino and Abunda Tonight. Their short-lived romance ended in the same year after Herbert reportedly proposed.
