Former beauty queen Maggie Wilson stepped up to the plate to design social media star Mimiyuuuh’s bedroom.
In her YouTube channel, the founder of her own design store Acasa Manila shared how she decided to design the room of one of the internet’s favorite vloggers.
After news of Mimiyuuuh’s talked-about new home, Maggie immediately asked their common friend, fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, to ask if she could design Mimiyuuuh’s space.
Before her internet fame, thanks in part to her viral Dalagang Pilipina video, Mimiyuuh had interned for Mark when she was still a fashion design and merchandising student at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Maggie said Mimiyuuuh wanted her new room to feel like a “villa in Bali.” The two decided that cement features and wood furniture would achieve the 23-year-old’s design goals of a modern-looking room.
“Ang story po kasi kaya maganda po yung woods and itong mga ganyang details (kasi) kaharap po nitong (room) ay pool so parang, ‘oh my god, am I in Bali? No, I’m in my room,’” Mimiyuuh explained.
Of course, all these had to fit with Mimiyuuuh’s signature plastic closet Lucky Star, which has been with her since the beginning of her career.
The TV host-model also surprised her client with framed black and white portraits of Mimiyuuuh to spruce up the room.

Mimiyuuuh recently reaped the fruits of her hardwork after she bought a new house for her and her family to live in.
Her house tour uploaded on October 27 has collected over 3.3 million views on her YouTube channel.
