As a special thank you to our Olympian Hidilyn Diaz, Rico Blanco released an acoustic version of Rivermaya’s Alab ng Puso. The OPM band’s former frontman shared his disbelief that the country finally has an Olympic Gold medal, all thanks to the 30-year-old weightlifting sensation from Zamboanga City.   Rico shared “Alab Ng Puso (Para Kay Hidilyn)” on his YouTube channel on Tuesday.   “Alam niyo nang lahat na ang pagmamahal ko sa sports ay katumbas ng pagmamahal ko sa musika, minsan nga higit pa. Mula sa pagka bata ko iniisip ko kung kailan darating ang panahon. Hidilyn Diaz now has two medals on her neck. After making history as the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist, weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz said she owed her success to God. During the awarding, as the Olympian received her well-deserved gold medal in the women’s 55-kg weightlifting event, she was proudly wearing another medal on her neck – the Miraculous Medal of Our Lady. The 30-year-old successfully lifted 97 kg in snatch and 127 kg in her final lift in clean and jerk. The 45-year-old, born Marvin Martinez, passed away due to liver cirrhosis, a niece Rafaela de Jesus shared on social media.  “Mula noon hanggang ngayon maganda ka pa din..
