‘You brought sunshine in our lives’: Zsa Zsa Padilla remembers Dolphy on rainy birthday

-

On the late King of Comedy Dolphy’s birthday, Zsa Zsa Padilla withstood the rain to visit the grave of her “lovey” in Taguig.

The veteran singer wrote on social media that while the icon rarely had a sunny birthday, he always brought sunshine to many lives.

She then addressed her late partner, sharing how his son Ronnie Quizon shared a fan-made tribute video for him.

“It was important for you to leave your fans and loved ones with your amazing body of work. And yes, when we do miss you, all it take is to press play to hear your songs, watch your movies and old footage of John and Marsha. We will always remember you fondly,” she wrote to him.

In the 57-year-old’s Instagram post, she wore her rain gear as she visited Dolphy’s grave at The Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig.

“You will always be in my heart, Lovey, Thank you. Happy Birthday,” she ended.

Under the comments section, celebrities such as Korina Sanchez-Roxas marked the special day with Zsa Zsa.

“I grew up with Dolphy. So talented. They don’t make ‘em like him anymore,” Korina wrote.

The comedy icon would have been 93 years old on July 25.

In early July, Zsa Zsa marked her late partner’s ninth death anniversary. In her Instagram post, she asked her friends and followers to say a little prayer for him.
