Vladimir “Jamir” Garcia, lead singer of Pinoy heavy metal rock band Slapshock, has passed away. He was 42 years old. According to a Quezon City police report, Jamir was found lifeless by his aunt at his home in Barangay Sangandaan Thursday (November 26) morning. Jamir was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Police authorities were dispatched to the scene and investigation is underway, as of writing.
