Scarlet Snow, daughter of celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, turned five years old Tuesday, March 3.
Proud daddy Hayden took to Instagram to share how he has changed ever since Scarlet came into his life.
“How fast time flies. You were so tiny and when I first held you in my arms, but look at you now — so tall and so strong,” he started.
The 39-year-old doctor admitted that before Scarlet was in their lives, he was afraid he did not know how to be a father but he promised himself he would be the best one for his baby girl.
“Because of you, I shaped up. I became more circumspect about my words and actions, knowing that you’re always listening, always watching. I became more faithful, more prayerful. It’s amazing how God used you to prepare me for you,” Hayden wrote.
He continued on to thank his daughter for bringing them joy and teaching them how to love selflessly as parents.
“You can trust that we will be here for you to help you reach your dreams, and we will also be here during the many times that you might stumble,” he ended.
For her part, Vicki said God has blessed them when they were given their daughter.
