Hollywood star January Jones has officially caught the K-drama fever!
In a recent Instagram post, the Mad Men and X-Men: First Class star declared the cross-border rom-com series, Crash Landing On You, her “fave show of all time”.
Proof? She bought the exact designer coat that Yoon Se-Ri (played by Son Ye-Jin) wore in CLOY.
As fans would remember, the South Korean heiress donned this power OOTD in a scene where she confronted goons in hopes of finding those trying to hurt her love, the North Korean officer, Capt. Ri Jeong-Hyuk (played by Hyun Bin).
“Sooo… I bought this coat because I couldn’t not have a memento from my fav show of all time. It’s makes me cry to have it on my back. I love you Se-ri and Capt Ri,” January wrote in her post.
Fashion websites have identified the panelled trench coat as made by Bottega Veneta and according to Farfetch.com, it costs $5,550 or around P270,000.
Fans quickly reacted to January’s post, with one comment saying: “This is the best crossover of 2020.”
Meanwhile, the American actress recently marked the 13th year since the premiere of the critically acclaimed drama Mad Men.
She also has her own shows still streaming on Netflix — Spinning Out and The Politician.
Crash Landing On You aired worldwide via Netflix from December 2019 to February this year. It ended its run as the third highest-rated South Korean series in cable television history after The World of Married and SKY Castle.
