Heart Evangelista took to Twitter to address the latest pregnancy rumor about her.
“I am not pregnant … fake news,” the Kapuso star, who is married to Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero, was quick to dispel the rumor in a tweet on Saturday night.
The 35-year-old actress is no stranger to pregnancy speculations. Late last year, she jokingly dismissed a supposed “baby bump” as simply a full stomach.
This time around, however, Heart has noticeably reacted in a more serious tone, describing it as a “sensitive topic”.
“Thank you for all your wishes but I am not … I’d like to set the record straight. It is a sensitive topic for me. Thank you,” she added in her tweet.
To recall, she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2018, sharing back then that no words were enough to capture “how heavy my heart feels but I know it’s important to share this because it’s part of my motherhood journey.”
Meanwhile, during this lockdown, Heart has been using the Twitter platform to reach out to followers who are in need of help.
She also made it no secret that she’s going through tough times herself.
“Please excuse my absence lately. I’ve been fixing a few things and attending to previous people in my dm. I’ve also been struggling about certain things. I hope everyone is well 🙁 hard times … but know this too shall pass… God bless you all,” she said.
Nevertheless, the fashion icon and visual artist has been keeping herself busy by picking up the paintbrush once again.
“Painted my feelings away,” Heart wrote in an Instagram post, while sharing a new painting she’s been working on which shows female figures — a regular theme in her artworks.
She’s also been showcasing some “New Normal” fashion pieces — from designer masks to couture PPEs.
She said these are her ways of coping with anxiety. “One way I battle my anxiety is by keeping busy and creative,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Everything that’s happening around us can really take a toll on our well-being so it’s important to do things that make us happy,” Heart said.
“Personally, getting all glammed up really lifts my mood. I believe that when you look good, you’ll feel good, too! It definitely brightens my day when I get creative and play dress up to create content.”
