Amid the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19, celebrity couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna continued to practice the Lenten tradition Pabasa ng Pasyon in their home.
On Maundy Thursday, Pauleen shared photos of her husband doing the Pabasa in a corner of their home that has been turned into a mini altar.
“Continuing family tradition despite the lockdown. Vic and I take turn every 10 to 20 pages. Day 2 tomorrow. Around 60 pages left! #pabasa2020,” the actress-TV host wrote on her social media accounts.
As part of the observance of the Holy Week, Filipino Catholic devotees practice the Pabasa which involves the chanting of the narrative on the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Apart from the Pabasa, the couple started an online prayer brigade late March via Facebook live during which they sing praise songs.
