Veteran broadcaster Anthony Taberna gave his daughter Zoey an extra special surprise by bringing actor Andres Muhlach to her debut celebration.
In a video shared by official event photographer Nice Print Photography on TikTok, Anthony excitedly introduced Andres, joking, “Palakpakan po natin ang napakabait na bata at kasing gwapo ko, Andres Muhlach!”
To her shock, Zoey covered her mouth and looked stunned as Andres, dressed in a black suit and holding a bouquet, walked toward her.
“Zoey, surprise, hello!” Andres greeted her. “This is such a big milestone in your life and I’m just glad to be here on this special day. You are loved, Zoey.”

He then jokingly admitted, “Sorry po ah, medyo kinikilig ako eh,” drawing cheers from the crowd.
Andres also serenaded the birthday girl with “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe Ng Buhay Ko,” leaving Zoey visibly coy and the guests cheering.
The celebration was especially meaningful for Zoey, who battled leukemia for two years after being diagnosed in December 2019 and was declared free of the disease in 2022.
Now 18, she celebrated the milestone with a heartfelt realization: “I was a girl who didn’t even think she would live to be alive for her 14th birthday. I can’t believe that I’m 18.”
