“Asia’s Superstar” Kathryn Bernardo has officially joined the ranks of global celebrities immortalized by Madame Tussauds after the world-renowned wax museum unveiled her very own wax figure on Thursday, July 9.
The unveiling took place during a special event at a mall in Makati City, where fans, members of the media, and invited guests gathered to witness the reveal of the actress’ lifelike “Kath-twin.”
The wax figure was inspired by Bernardo’s elegant appearance at the Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea, where she received the “Outstanding Asian Star Award.”
Fans attending the event were given the opportunity to meet the actress in person and pose for photos with her wax figure before it is transported to its permanent home at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
Kathryn is the fourth Filipino personality to receive the honor, following Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, and actress-host Anne Curtis.
The blockbuster actress is set to premiere her TV comeback “Someone, Someday”, alongside James Reid and Maja Salvador.
The series is coming to primetime on July 27 on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live. It will also be available on iWant and Netflix.
