Returning to the Mojave stage on Saturday, April 18 (PH Time) for Weekend 2, the eight-member act delivered an electrifying 45-minute set, building on their widely praised historic debut on the music festival the previous weekend.
BINI opened with a powerful performance of their “Strings,” amped up by a surprise dance break and a seamless mid-performance outfit change that drew loud cheers from the crowd.
The group maintained the momentum with a dynamic lineup of songs in both Filipino and English, including “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” and “Bikini.”
They closed the set with their breakout hit “Pantropiko,” showcasing their signature blend of stable vocals, powerful choreography, and commanding stage presence.
Beyond the performances, BINI engaged the diverse Coachella audience with their signature “eyy” expression, energizing both international festivalgoers and Filipino fans, many of whom waved lightsticks and Philippine flags in support.
The members also highlighted their roots by greeting the crowd in various Philippine dialects.
Maloi opened with a Batangueño expression, “Ala eh, pagkakasalida”, followed by Sheena’s warm “Kumusta, Coachella.”
Gwen represented Albay with a Bicolano greeting, “Marhay na hapon, Coachella. Oragon!”, while Aiah hyped the audience in Cebuano, saying, “Coachella, shagit og kusog!”.
Stacey spoke in Ilocano, greeting, “Naimbag nga aldaw kanyayo amin”, while Jhoanna delivered a Tagalog “Isang magandang hapon” message, Mikha cooly addressed the crowd in English “What’s up, Coachella!”, and Colet closed the segment with a greeting from Bohol, “Maayong hapon!”
As their set came to an end, the members turned visibly emotional, taking a moment to thank their supporters and reflect on the milestone.
“Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino! Maraming salamat, Coachella. Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re gonna remember this forever. We love you, Blooms!” Colet said, as the group took a final bow onstage with their backup dancers, Besties.
Following their Coachella milestone, BINI is set to embark on their upcoming “Signals” world tour, which will kick off in Manila on June 20 at the Mall of Asia and Cebu’s largest indoor arena, Seaside Cebu Arena, on July 11.
