Inanunsyo ng beauty queen na si Yllana Marie Aduana na hindi mula siya sasali sa edition ng Miss Universe Philippines ngayong taon.
Sa isang Instagram post, sinabi ni Yllana na nais niyang mag-pursue ng ibang bagay na labas sa field ng pageantry.
“The past few days, I have been seeing so many of you curious whether I am going to join again in this year’s edition of [Miss Universe Philippines] or not. And honestly, for the past few months, I have also been thinking the same thing and praying really hard to God that He guides me in the process,” wika niya.
“This year, I realized that my heart wanted to pursue other big and substantial things, but this time, outside of pageantry,” saad ng beauty queen.
“Don’t get me wrong, my pageant girly self craves being on the stage and performing again in front of so many people, but hey I guess, the heart wants what it wants,” dagdag pa nito.
Kasabay nito, nagpasalamat naman si Yllana sa kanyang mga taga-suporta.
“I am writing this letter to everyone of you who has been very supportive, patient, and kind to me throughout the process. I appreciate you all, very dearly,” mensahe ni Yllana.
Maliban sa kanyang mga taga-suporta, nag-alay din ng mensahe si Yllana para sa mga candidates ng Miss Universe Philippines ngayong taon.
“I am very excited to cheer on the delegates of MUPH this year and may the best Queen win!” wika niya.
Kaugnay nito, sinabi ng beauty queen na umaasa siya na patuloy siyang susuportahan ng mga netizens sa kanyang bagong journey.
“This year will also be a very big one for me and I am really excited to make it just as impactful as I do all things that make my heart genuinely happy and that will expand my career too! I hope you guys still support me regardless!” pahayag pa niya.
Matatandaan na kinoronahan si Yllana bilang Miss Philippines Earth noong taong 2023.
Taong 2025 naman nang koronahan siya bilang Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Second Runner-Up.
