Angel Locsin’s X account still compromised with cryptocurrency content

-

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of actress Angel Locsin appeared to have been compromised by cryptocurrency content.

Despite her ongoing social media hiatus, Angel took the time to inform her followers on Facebook about the unauthorized online activity in her verified X page where videos about cryptocurrency giveaways and posts pretending to be the actress were made.

“ATTENTION: Please note that @143redangel, Angel Locsin’s account on X (formerly Twitter), has been hacked. Any replies or tweets from this account are not from Angel. Please be cautious,” the notice read.

Her husband, filmmaker Neil Arce also posted about his wife’s account being hacked on his Instagram story.

Locsin reiterated the notice again on Tuesday afternoon, stating that the reposts and links shared in her page were not made by her and strongly advised netizens to not click the said links while they are still working on getting her access back to her account.

As of writing, Angel’s account is still being used by the hackers to promote cryptocurrency on the platform and is still in the process of retrieved.

This was not the Locsin has fallen victim to hacking incidents. In 2020, the actress shared repeated attempts to hack her email and social media accounts such as Twitter and Facebook, after one of her accounts are temporarily locked after a login was made from an unfamiliar location.
