Engaged couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque, who were supposed to wed later this year, have broken up, said TV host Boy Abunda.
Abunda broke the news during the Tuesday episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
“Ako’y nalungkot ho talaga dahil madalas, ‘pag nagkikita kami ni Bea ay nagkakakwentuhan ho kami tungkol sa buhay, tungkol sa kanila, their marriage plans, etcetera. So, I was shocked,” said Abunda.
He furthered, “As we talk today, yes, hiwalay po si Dominic at tsaka si Bea,” adding that the two have called off their wedding but are possibly trying to patch things up.
Split speculations hounded Bea and Dominic after talent manager Ogie Diaz said in a recent episode on his YouTube channel that a source confirmed the separation of the engaged couple.
Eagle-eyed netizens earlier noticed that the actress was no longer wearing her engagement ring, as well as the couple’s inactivity on each other’s social media pages.
“Sabi ng isa kong source, wala na sila, hiwalay na sila. May nagsabi rin sa akin na ‘yung post ni Dominic na siya’y nag-iisa na tinatanaw ang dagat at hampas ng alon meron daw problema ‘yun,” Ogie said in his YouTube channel referring to Dominic’s Instagram post where he noticeably limited the comments.
“Wala na, kaya inaabala na lang ni Bea ang kanyang sarili, bini-busy na lang ni Bea ang kanyang sarili,” added Ogie.
“Sabi rin ng isa kong source, wala na sila! Hiwalay na sila! ‘Yung Japan (trip) nila huling post na nila ‘yun,” said Ogie, noting Bea and Dominic’s last photo of them together that were posted in the early days of January.
Ogie furthered that despite the split, Dominic is trying to woo back Bea.
“Yun nga, ang sabi sa akin ng source, sinusuyo pa rin ni Dominic Roque si Bea Alonzo para sila ay magkaayos…Pwedeng nagka-misunderstanding, ganyan,” he said, later stressing that the speculations should be confirmed by the two.
