Internet sensation Sassa Gurl reminded fellow influencers to be responsible for using social media platforms to promote their content.

It seemed that Sassa’s pieces of advice were timely made amidst the current controversy surrounding former beauty queen Maggie Wilson and the “coordinated online attacks” against her and her company ACASA MNL that were allegedly done by TikTok influencers in exchange for money.

Sassa Gurl, whose real name is Felix Petate, gained TikTok recognition in 2020 for her skits and comedic parodies relating to Filipino culture. She is the first-ever openly queer calendar model for a whiskey brand’s 2022 calendar.
