The Kissing Booth star Joey King is now married to director Steve Piet.
After four years of dating, the couple exchanged their vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mallorca, Spain, which the 24-year-old King described to the fashion magazine Vogue as “absolute perfection”.
The occasion took place in a Spanish villa in the elegant style of a “Spanish version of The Great Gatsby.”
“It’s historic without being dated. It felt timeless, the same way we feel about our love for each other,” Joey told Vogue.
Joey’s walk down the aisle was made even more special as one of her close friends, American singer-actress Sabrina Carpenter, sang the Swedish song Tjugonde by Amason, in Swedish.
The 32-year-old director-producer shared glimpses of their wedding on his recent Instagram post.
“Only in this moment can we discover that which is timeless,” Steven wrote.
Their romance bloomed after Joey met Steven in 2019 on the set of Hulu series The Act where the latter directed two of its episodes. The couple had been dating for three years when Steven popped the question on their anniversary trip to Joshua Tree.
The actress shared news of their engagement last March.
