Chen of K-pop boy group EXO is reportedly holding his wedding ceremony with non-celebrity wife this October, three years after registering their marriage.
According to a report by SpoTV News on Wednesday, the vocalist and his wife are now making preparations for their belated wedding ceremony, which will be attended by family, close friends, and other EXO members.
Chen announced his marriage in a handwritten letter to fans in January 2020, revealing that they are also expecting their first child together. They welcomed their firstborn in April of the same year.
While Chen was still serving his mandatory military duties, his wife gave birth to their second child in January 2022. The father of two got officially discharged from the military on April 25 of the same year, more than a year after enlisting in October 2020.
Chen is set to release his first Japanese solo album titled Polaris on Thursday, which includes the title track Light Of My Life.
Meanwhile, EXO released their seventh full-length album, Exist, last July.
