Kit Thompson is grateful and happy to be back in the spotlight, months after he figured in a controversy with girlfriend Ana Jalandoni.
The 25-year-old revealed during a storycon for upcoming film Showroom, that he actually prayed for his return to showbiz following his mauling incident with Ana at a hotel in March.
“I’m thankful na I’m back! Actually pinagdasal ko nga ito, eh, I think a week ago or something. Habang nag-iisip ako nagdasal lang ako and eto, dumating nga, so I thank the Lord for this,” Kit shared in an interview with ABS-CBN.
The former Pinoy Big brother housemate also expressed his gratitude to those who gave him trust despite the circumstances.
“Siyempre ano, thankful ako na may mga taong you know… Tiningnan pa rin kung paano ako magtrabaho, na nakasama ako at kung paano ako. So, nakaka-touch, nakakatuwa,” Kit was quoted as saying in the interview, while admitting he coudn’t articulate his thoughts.
“Nandun pa rin nga na may mga tao pa ring naniniwala sa ‘yo. And it inspires me to do better and be better for myself,” he added.
Meanwhile, director Carlo Obispo and Viva Films unit head and producer Len Carrillo, said they see no problem having Kit in the film, stressing that they care more about the controversial actor’s work ethics than the issue with his previous relationship.
Ana, on the other hand, previously signed a contract with Viva Films in June. The showbiz newcomer earlier stated that she chose to forgive Kit as part of her moving-on process.
