Liza Soberano might finally be making her debut in the Hollywood scene.
The Filipino-American actress recently sparked speculations that she will be appearing in the film Lisa Frankesnstein, headlined by Riverdale star Cole Sprouse and The Society star Kathryn Newton.
This after a certain Jessie Stanford of JSLA Events tagged Liza in an Instagram story resharing Newton’s Instagram post about the start of filming for “Lisa Frankentein”.
Also mentioned in the Instagram story were film director Zelda Williams and Transparent Arts, the global partner of Liza’s fellow actor James Reid’s record label Careless Music which manages the actress’ career.
Liza aso earlier “liked” William’s Instagram post dated June 30, which featured a Deadline write-up about her helming the “Lisa Frankenstein” film.
According to a report by Deadline, the movie follows the story of an “unpopular high schooler who accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage”.
It was last May when Liza spoke about her dreams of pursuing a career in the United States, saying she wants to “bridge the gap” between the Philippines and America to help the younger generation “who also dream of coming out here and make a career for themselves”.
The 24-year-old has also been making buzz after meeting and interacting with several Kpop idols in South Korea with James Reid, including The Rose, Jay Park, and IVE.
