Maxene Magalona penned an appreciation post, expressing her gratitude for her in-laws amid speculations that she and her husband Rob Mananquil have called it quits already.
The actress called her in-laws as her own dad and mom when she shared how their New Year’s Eve dinner panned out.
“Every time I hang out with them, I learn and enjoy so much. I love hearing Dad’s funny jokes that make me laugh so much as well as Mom’s stories from the past that come with life lessons which I cherish and keep with me forever,” she wrote.
Maxene then expressed her thanks for the love they have shared with her.
She wrote: “I just want to take this moment to show my love and gratitude for two of the kindest and most unconditionally loving souls that I’ve ever met in this lifetime. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if not for them.
“The love that they have for me and their children is just so pure and rare which is why I would like to honor and share it. God Bless you both!”
Just last week, the 35-year-old addressed the rumors by asking her followers not to come to her Instagram page for gossip.
“It is not polite to ask about their personal lives especially when you don’t know them personally. And even if you DO know them, you should give them space and wait for them to open up to you instead of prying and wanting to invade their privacy,” she said.
