Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla celebrated their 34 years of marriage by keeping social distance amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
While on their self-quarantine, the couple can only send flying kisses and wave hands at each other.
“You’re so near yet so far, malayo man tayo sa isa’t isa Mama, andito ka naman sa aking puso palagi. Social Distancing man, our love will never know any distance. Salamat sa iyong walang katumbas na pagmamahal. Mahal na mahal kita. Happy anniversary, Mama!!! I love you so much!!!” said Senator Revilla in a Facebook post he penned for his wife on Thursday.
Lani, on the other hand, also greeted her husband on their special day.
“Dahilan na rin sa dinami-daming mga kaganapan, nalimutan kong anniversary natin! Kaya ito, naka-self-quarantine man ako, alam kong maraming taon pa tayong magsasama’t magmamahalan. Happy anniversary Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr.! ❤️❤️❤️”.
In another Facebook post last Wednesday (March 26), Senator Revilla shared that he has ended his 14-day home quarantine which started last March 9.
Lani, in a separate Facebook post, said she is undergoing self-quarantine after being exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive patient.
“‘Wag po kayong mag-alala, wala naman po akong lagnat. Medyo makati lang po ‘yung lalamunan pero I can manage, wala naman po ako nararamdamang masama,” she shared.
On Saturday, Senator Revilla confirmed that one of his staff tested positive for COVID-19 and asked prayers for his recovery.
