Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. firmly told his followers that he is “alive and kicking” and in “strong” health as he debunked rumors falsely claiming he died of COVID-19.
“Sa lahat po ng mga nanood, si Bong Revilla po ay buhay na buhay,” announced the actor-politician in a Facebook Live on Friday.
Revilla, who tested positive for the coronavirus on August 9 and was hospitalized for pneumonia last week, shared that he has received concerned calls after the death hoax circulated online.
Tumatawag from Cebu, from Davao, from the States kumalat na na ako daw ay pumanaw na. Buhay na buhay po ako at malakas na malakas,” he stated
Revilla also noted that he is now on the “road to full recovery” and has even started working from home.
He went on to address his supporters as well as those who have wished him dead.
Revilla also took the time to thank those who took care of him and attended to his medical treatment.
The 53-year-old lawmaker went on to share some of the symptoms he experienced and urged the public to watch out for these warning signs.
Revilla also shared how grateful that he’s finally recovering.
“Kapag nagfa-flashback sa akin yung nangyari sa akin talagang wow. Lord, thank you, I’m still alive,” he said.
“Wag ho kayong mag-alala, buhay ako, buhay na buhay si Bong Revilla,” added the senator, patting his face twice.
