Angeline Quinto is mourning the loss of her adoptive mother Sylvia Quinto or Mama Bob who has passed away Saturday.
The singer-actress bid her mom goodbye in an emotional Instagram post.
“Mag iingat ka sa pag lalakbay Mama,” wrote Angeline along a photo of her embracing her Mama Bob on the hospital bed.
“Hindi man kita maalalayan sa paglalakad ngayon patungo sa paraiso, masaya ako nandyan ang Panginoon para umalalay sayo,” continued Angeline.
Angeline also thanked Mama Bob for raising and looking after her. The signer first learned that she was adopted by Mama Bob, her biological father’s aunt, when she was six years old.
“Hinding hindi ako mapapagod sa pagpapasamalat sayo Ma, dahil sa pagkakataong ibinigay mo sa akin para maging anak mo.”
“Hanggang sa muli nating pagkikita MAHAL NA MAHAL KONG MAMA BOB ?,” she ended.
Early in September, Angeline asked prayers for her ailing mom without disclosing any information on her condition, saying “ito ang pinaka matinding pagsubok sa buhay ko.”
According to MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Mama Bob had a stroke last September 9 and was hospitalized since then.
