Actor Baron Geisler expressed his delight and vowed to make amends after receiving an invitation to join ABS-CBN’s star-studded event, breaking his 14-year ban from the occasion.
After being canceled in October of last year, ABS-CBN announced the return of its annual gathering and charity event known as the ABS-CBN Ball 2023, dubbed as the “new chapter”.
On Instagram, Baron excitedly posted a photo of his invitation to ABS-CBN’s much-anticipated event and his confirmation to attend the event. The post was made last Saturday, Sept. 16.
In his caption, the actor explained the reason why he was banned from the event for more than a decade.
“It has been more than a decade since I was invited to the #ABSCBNBALL due to my bad behaviour during the previous ones. Now, I am humbled and grateful that they welcome me back with open arms,” Baron wrote.
“Can’t wait to thank the bosses personally and to have a wonderful time with my colleagues celebrating each ones achievements,” he added.
Baron thanked his superiors by mentioning them in his post including Deo Endrinal and Cory Vidanes.
Likewise, he also shared the news of his return to the event on his X (formerly Twitter) personal account.

“This means so much to me. This invitation. I won’t mess it up,” he added.
A netizen commented under his post saying that “all eyes would be on him” and reminded him to “behave”.
To which he replied, “I know bro. I’m ready for this. Sober party for me bro and still will have a blast for sure. Sa taping nga saya namin sober kaya naman sa party pa and full support sila sa akin at napagusapan na [n]amin at uupakan daw ako ni drk andoy (Ranay) [and] Ms. Sylvia (Sanchez) lol.”
The ABS-CBN Ball is set to take place this Sept. 30, 2023.
Baron is popularly known for his “bad boy” and antagonist roles. He currently stars in ABS-CBN’s newest high school drama Senior High, together with Slyvia Sanchez, and former child stars Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, and Zaijan Jaranilla.
