Basketball player Ricci Rivero, who has recently faced controversies over his last relationship, opened up on the lessons he learned about love.
Ricci recently guested on former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s Youtube channel “Iskovery Night”, where he was asked about the greatest learning in a relationship.
“As long as nasa tama or nasa totoo ka, wala ka namang kailangan i-regret or wala kang babalikan na ‘dapat ganito, dapat ganyan’. Mas okay din siguro ‘yung wala masyadong taong involve sa relationship kasi mas wala ring makikialam,” said Ricci.
The baller, who last dated Andrea Brillantes, shared how he is moving forward following the harsh criticisms he received after his controversial breakup with the actress.
“Mas focus ako dun sa kung ano yung tingin kong makakabuti and mas importante…Wala talagang madudulot na mabuti kung ano man ‘yung sasabihin nila parang hindi na rin para sa akin na intindihin or paniwalaan kasi alam ko naman kung ano yung mga nangyayari.”
Isko asked Ricci the qualities he looks or in a partner: “Matured, simple, family oriented at may takot sa Diyos.”
Ricci courted bashing after Andrea hinted on being cheated by the cager during their relationship.
In a Pep report, DJ Jaiho revealed that Ricci refused to comment on the cheating allegations, saying “Huwag na daw po. Kasi nakapag-judge na daw po kami.”
