South Korean boy group BTS member Jungkook is set to release his first solo debut next month, according to an exclusive report from Korean news outlet Sports Chosun.
On June 4, Sports Chosun exclusively reported that JK is gearing up to release his new solo album on July 14 KST. The album will include an “English B-side track” and “global solo activities” could possibly be involved.
BTS’ label, BIGHIT MUSIC, told Sports Chosun that JK’s solo debut is coming but other information has yet to be confirmed.
BIGHIT responded to the news by saying, “We will make an announcement once the release schedule for Jungkook’s solo album has been confirmed.”
Despite JK’s previous solo songs, including “Still With You” and “My You,” ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’ OST single “Stay Alive,” and the most recent official FIFA World Cup song “Dreamers,” this upcoming release will be his first-ever solo album.
Meanwhile, BTS is planning to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut by releasing a range of commemorative content. On June 9, they are set to release a new song titled “Take Two.”
