Ogie Diaz’s mom recently passed away. She was 87 years old.
In an episode of his showbiz-oriented YouTube channel published on Friday, Ogie was asked if his former talent Liza Soberano sent him condolences.
It can be recalled that the two previously exchanged words after Liza admitted getting hurt by Ogie for seemingly “trying to fight or ruin” her with his remarks on her “rebranding”.
So far wala akong natatanggap na Viber or text kay Liza. Malay naman natin ‘di ba umabot hanggang Friday. Naku, may deadline? Pero okay lang naman. Kung sino lang ‘yung makakaalala,” Ogie said in response.
The talent manager said that the actress might have a busy schedule so she couldn’t extend her sympathies for her ex-manager’s loss.
Liza was Ogie’s talent for 10 years before she signed with her new management, Careless, in June 2022. The actress is currently in the States to pursue a Hollywood career.
