Vice President Leni Robredo has found support in American pop icon Cher after she made tweets about the only female presidential candidate.
On Tuesday, February 14, Cher tweet wrote in a tweet, “IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT…LET A WOMAN DO IT,” alongside emojis.
A Robredo supporter quoted Cher’s tweet using Robredo’s campaign hashtag #LetLeniLead which caught the attention of the singer.
“Who is this?” Cher replied to the tweet, asking who Leni was.
In another tweet, Cher reiterated: “Excuse Don’t Know Leni.”
The 75-year-old diva later on learned who she was when another supporter tweeted that Leni is the “current Vice President of the Philippines and soon to be our President! ?.”
In capital letters, Cher exclaimed in response: “BRAVO!! LET WOMEN DO IT!!”
She then expressed support for “Leni and all women” fighting for causes.

Drawing cheers from Robredo supporters, Cher’s tweet sent her on top of Twitter’s trending topics, alongside the hashtag #LetLeniLead.
