Pia Wurtzbach explained why it’s a simple choice to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2015 proudly shared that she has received the COVID-19 vaccine in Mandaluyong City.
“It’s as simple as me wanting to protect myself from getting ang spreading the virus. I don’t want to risk the people around me – especially my loved ones – to get sick because of me,” she said.
Pia added that the vaccine is an “extra layer of protection” and basic health protocols should still be followed.
“So, let’s help one another fight this deadly virus by building immunity around us. When given the chance, please take whatever vaccine is made available to you,” she encouraged.
Included in her post are photos from when she got her vaccine at a mall in Mandaluyong City.
Pia is just one of the many celebrities and personalities who are encouraging the public to get their vaccines when it’s their turn already.
On June 7, the government rolled out the immunization program for essential workers or those in the A4 category.
