Despite recently admitting his fear of commitment, 18-year-old singer Darren Espanto admitted he has had a number of showbiz girlfriends already.
“Throughout my stay here in the Philippines, opo, lahat sila in showbiz,” he said in a report from Pilipino Star Ngayon.
For the teenager, he says it is normal to engage in relationships from time to time. Darren assured that his parents are supportive of his relationships.
“It’s part of growing up din. My parents are supportive naman as long as alam nilang matino yung kino-court kong babae,” he shared.
When asked if he dated Kapuso artist Kyline Alcantara in the past, Darren evaded the question.
“Masasabi ko lang yung mga fans talagang very alam nila eh. I feel like kasi when you are a kid, you don’t really know what you really want yet in life. I feel like it is better for me and for everyone I dated in the past. Kasi mas mature na po kami ngayon and alam na po namin ang gusto namin,” he said.
