Bianca Manalo has opened up about her breakup with Senate President Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian, revealing that his dedication to public service played a role in their separation.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the beauty queen and actress said Gatchalian’s demanding work kept him focused on serving the country.
“I understand that, Tito Boy, because he’s very hardworking,” Bianca said.
The Kapuso star added that she would rather see her former partner focus on his responsibilities than have another woman enter the picture.
“Who am I to stop him? So okay, I’m happy for him and I will forever support him,” she said.
Despite their breakup, Bianca revealed that they remain friends and continue to share custody of their three dogs.
“When I need help, I still talk to him, he is still the one who helps me. Someone from his staff calls me if I need something. He still takes good care of me,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Bianca also addressed the recurring rumors linking her to other personalities whenever a celebrity relationship ends.
“I don’t know,” she said when asked why she often gets tagged as a third party in such situations.
“Now that I’m single, I hear a lot of stories that are like what—why is it that when I’m single, I am always linked to whoever. I think I need to be taken again, joke,” she quipped.
However, the actress clarified that she is not rushing into another relationship, saying she is currently happy spending time with her family.
“I’m happy. I’m focusing my happiness with my nephews and my nieces and my mom,” Bianca said.
“So I’m okay for now. I’m not in a rush.”
Gatchalian, for his part, has generally kept his relationship with Bianca private, often responding with “no comment” when asked about their romance. In 2025, he also attended the State of the Nation Address without her.
